Two very good friends of mine. I was honored to get a few frames of them before they embarked into the life of the Navy. I cant say enough about Shanna and Dallas, I am missing them for sure. I hope to make it out to Monterey soon to visit.

Its not often I get to spend a day with my son, Jack, but Friday morning was a snow day. We suited up and took a shot at it, the plethora of excitement we had about building a snow man was too much… 10 minutes later we were watching Nick Jr and pretending that his new Toy Story toys were alive while our hands warmed in the temperate comforts of our home. Maybe next time we will wear gloves.

Where to start? Laura and Josh are awesome? That seems like a good place. When ever a couple tells me that photography is the most important part of their wedding, I get a little excited inside. From the engagement session through the end of the reception, Laura and Josh made it a great experience.
You should see this wedding in the winter issue of Kentucky Bride Magazine by the first of the year. Super excited about the feature.
If you’re wondering why people have on mask’s and glasses and other weird things that should be at weddings… its a part of the ‘photobooth’ I offer. You can check out Laura and Josh’s ->>>> HERE

its true.
I know Ive already announced it on twitter and facebook but I figure a blog post was in order.
What a way to end the year… 2009 has been crazy and I can’t wait to see what 2010 brings. Sleepless nights, endless diapers and constant smiles are what I have written down right now. I cannot tell you all how stoked I am.
Some of you may know that this is my first kid, Jack is my adopted son from my wife. When I made a commitment to her, I made a commitment to him. I know no difference, he is my son. I have been there for him since he was 9 months old and will continue to raise him as my son. Giving him a baby brother/sister is going to be amazing.
This is one of the few things that’s happened in my life thats felt like I imagined it would. Its not like turning 16 or 18 or 21. Its not like getting your drivers license. Its not like graduating. Its not like getting married. It IS unlike any milestone I have ever experienced. 2010 will be awesome for the Perry’s.
To every photographer, blog reader and other being on the internet, cheers to you and yours for an amazing new year.
